Chapter 469
Chapter 469:
The Carrillo family and the Griffiths family had been locked in a bitter feud for generations. When Sean found out Nora was in Hans, he had gathered his men and followed her, planning to use the chance to disgrace her — and by extension, disgrace the Griffiths family.
What he hadn’t expected was that Wyatt would also be in Hans.
“Wyatt, I’d advise you to stay out of the grudge between my family and the Griffiths,” Sean warned. “Get involved, and you’ll drag the Stewart family into trouble you can’t walk away from p>
The Carrillo family’s influence rivaled that of the Griffiths, and Sean was not afraid of the Stewart family’s power.
But Wyatt didn’t move. His gaze turned even colder. “If you want revenge, deal with the Griffith family directly. Don’t stoop to these disgusting, cowardly tricks against a woman p>
Sean’s expression flickered, a mix of emotions crossing his face, but the memory of his family’s losses — two lives — ignited a venomous fury in him. “She can only blame herself for being a Griffith,” he spat.
With a sharp motion of his hand, Sean signaled his men.
At that cue, his bodyguards surged into the room like a wave.
Still holding Nora, Wyatt lashed out with a brutal kick, knocking back the first bodyguard who came at him.
Sean didn’t dare let his men actually hurt Wyatt; his orders were specific — take Nora from Wyatt.
For a while, the two sides clashed in a tight, vicious struggle, neither able to gain the upper hand.

In the chaos, Wyatt’s phone slipped from his grasp and clattered to the floor. As he bent to retrieve it, one of the bodyguards grabbed Nora’s arm, trying to tear her out of his hold.
Wyatt had no choice but to focus completely on shielding Nora.
Just when it seemed the fight was turning against him, two men burst into the room, a sudden lifeline.
“Mr. Stewart, we’ve got this! Take Ms. Griffiths and go p>
Wyatt recognized them immediately as loyal men from the Griffiths family.
With them covering him, he left the room with Nora in his arms.
Sean, watching Wyatt get closer to the elevator, threw caution aside and charged after them. But before he could get close, one of the Griffiths men planted himself in Sean’s path.
“Mr. Stewart, go! Get Ms. Griffiths to safety!” the man shouted, his eyes blazing with determination as he blocked Sean.
Wyatt shot Sean one last, icy glance before carrying Nora into the elevator.
Inside the confined space, Nora’s distress only grew. Her composure unraveled, and she reached out, her arms shaking as she tried to pull herself against Wyatt.
But just as she leaned toward him, Wyatt gently set her down and caught her wrists with a steady grip.
“Nora, pull yourself together,” he said, his voice calm but unyielding.
