At last, Amelia grasped what she meant, and her face lit up with joy. “Nora, are you saying you have feelings for Weldon p>
Nora’s nature was straightforward and bold. Even when it came to matters of the heart, Nora never hid behind pretense. She nodded at Amelia’s question and admitted without hesitation, “I’ve got a crush on him p>
Then she asked with a hint of urgency, “He doesn’t have a girlfriend, does he p>
“As far as I know, he isn’t seeing anyone. If you’d like, I can ask him for you p>
“Then I’ll leave it in your hands. If I can be with Weldon, I swear I’ll make the best sister-in-law you could ask for p>
Nora’s words made Amelia chuckle. “With a promise like that, I’ll try my best to help you p>

While they chatted, Amelia leaned closer and murmured a few words into Nora’s ear. Whatever she whispered made Nora’s whole face brighten with joy.
It wasn’t only Shepard who had seen the way Weldon looked at Nora; Amelia had noticed it as well. Had Nora kept her feelings for Weldon to herself, Amelia would have stayed quiet about it, content to let their bond grow on its own. But now that Nora had spoken openly about her feelings, Amelia felt eager to give them a gentle push toward each other.
The moment Amelia stepped back into Weldon’s hospital room, she came straight out with it. “Nora just told me she has feelings for you p>

Weldon had been sipping water, but Amelia’s words made him choke on it and spit it, coughing so hard that his eyes watered.
Shepard leapt aside from the sofa to avoid the splash, while Weston wasn’t as fortunate and caught it head-on.
Grabbing a tissue, Weston wiped his face with a scowl. “Could you try being a little less dramatic?” he said to Weldon.
Weldon paid Weston no attention. His gaze locked on Amelia, his voice unsteady with excitement. “Are you serious p>
“I am. Nora said it to me herself p>
The instant Amelia confirmed it, Weldon shot up from the bed. In his rush, he forgot about the cast on his leg and nearly toppled, only saving himself by clutching the sofa for balance.
When Weldon hobbled toward the door, Amelia rushed to steady him. “Where are you headed p>
“I have to find Nora and tell her that I like her, too p>
Amelia let out a soft laugh and shook her head. “If you really want to tell Nora how you feel, there’s no reason to rush. Wouldn’t it be better to think it through and confess your feelings to her when you are well-prepared p>
Shepard said with a grin, “That’s right. Considering your condition, by the time you drag yourself over there, she’ll probably be long gone p>
Hearing the two of them, Weldon sighed and set aside the thought of running after Nora right away.
After checking on Weldon, Amelia planned to return to Wyatt. But she had barely stepped into the hallway when the sound of hurried footsteps from behind her made her pause.
When she saw Weston hurry to catch up, her eyes wavered with mixed feelings, yet she still stepped toward him. “Is there something you need p>
Ever since she uncovered the truth about Weston’s separation from Katrina, the resentment she had once carried toward him had begun to ease. Even so, fully accepting him without reservations was still difficult for her.
“Amelia, would you take me to visit Katrina’s grave?” Weston’s gaze carried both hesitation and a quiet plea.
The question left Amelia falling silent for a moment. As her silence lingered, Weston assumed she was turning him down. Though disappointment settled in, he forced a smile.

“I’ll handle the arrangements and bring you there soon,” Amelia interjected.
“Really? Thank you p>
At the sound of Weston’s gratitude, Amelia’s eyes grew misty, and she quickly turned her face away.
When she stepped back into Wyatt’s hospital room, she told him about taking Weston to visit Katrina’s grave. At first, she thought of calling Rocco to make the arrangements, but Wyatt insisted on going with her and began organizing everything himself.
Once Shepard learned of the plan, he said he would join them as well. Even Weldon asked the nurse for a wheelchair and wanted to accompany them, leaving Amelia little room to refuse.
Together, they all left the hospital.

Once the group had finished paying their respects, Weston reached out and gently brushed his fingers against Katrina’s photograph on the stone.
“I’m so sorry,” he said.
The bright smile frozen in the picture broke through Weston’s composure, and tears streamed down his face.
Noticing Weston’s grief, Amelia and the others shared a silent glance before stepping away, giving him some space.
