Chapter 541
Chapter 541:
“He is here to search for someone?” Wyatt asked.
“That’s what the investigator said, but we’re still in the dark about whether it’s true,” Davin replied quickly.
“Look into any developments with the Davis Group,” Wyatt instructed abruptly. “See if they’re in trouble p>
Caught off guard by the sudden directive, Davin quickly regained his composure and nodded. It wasn’t long before he returned to Wyatt’s office, his steps brisk with purpose. Gathering intelligence on the Davis Group proved far less challenging than probing the elusive Brightmore Group—already, a handful of phone calls had shed light on the Davis Group’s trouble.
“Have you uncovered who is targeting the Davis Group?” Wyatt’s tone was deceptively serene, but Davin, after years at his side, knew that this calm masked a simmering fury.
Just as Davin opened his mouth to respond, his phone vibrated with an incoming message. A glance at the screen sent a ripple of complicated emotion across his face.
“Mr. Stewart, it’s confirmed—the Brightmore Group is also targeting Mrs. Stewart’s company,” he said.
“Get Hiram on the line. Have him track down Leandro’s whereabouts,” Wyatt ordered, his voice steady but sharp.

“Understood p>
As Davin turned to leave, Wyatt’s voice cut through the air again. “Instruct our eastern market team to reach out to the Davis Group. Push for that project collaboration, and make it quick p>
“I’ll see to it immediately,” Davin replied, already moving to execute the command.
Amelia, meanwhile, remained unaware of what was happening at the Stewart Group. After ending her phone call with Wyatt, she asked Barrie to drive her back to Hillside Villa.
Fresh from a soothing bath, Amelia was startled by the insistent ring of her phone. An unfamiliar number flashed across the screen, and she dismissed the call without a second thought.
But the number called again. And again.
By the third call, curiosity got the better of her and she answered, her tone clipped. “Who is this p>
“Amelia, how does it feel to teeter on the edge of ruin p>
The voice on the other end dripped with malice, and Amelia could almost see Brielle’s smug grin. She recalled the scene she had glimpsed in the car earlier and a spark of suspicion flickered in her mind. Could Brielle be the mastermind behind the Davis Group’s troubles?
