Chapter 522
Chapter 522:
Wyatt spoke of breakfast alone in his message to Amelia and made no mention of anything else.
When Amelia posed her question, Davin smiled and shook his head, replying, “Mr. Stewart only instructed me to hand this to you in person. He never told me what’s inside p>
Once Amelia accepted the gift box, Davin turned away and departed.
“Amelia, open it quickly and check what’s inside!” Weldon urged.
Yielding to his urging, Amelia lifted the lid of the box in her grasp. Upon seeing what lay within, Amelia was caught off guard, while Weldon’s expression turned into sheer rage.
“What is Wyatt trying to imply here? He actually expects you to sign a prenuptial contract. He p>
Before Amelia could utter a response, Weldon had already snatched the prenuptial agreement from the box. Yet after flipping it open and swiftly skimming through, his fury gave way to shock.
The contract stood entirely for Amelia’s benefit. It plainly declared that if their union ever failed, the entirety of Wyatt’s fortune would be handed to Amelia without any restrictions.
Weldon examined it twice to verify that it truly meant all of Wyatt’s assets. Fixing his gaze on the document he held, he blurted to Amelia, “Has Wyatt completely lost his senses p>
Amelia gave no reply to this remark because her phone began ringing at that moment.

“Have you seen the document p>
Wyatt’s low tone echoed in Amelia’s ear through the line.
“Why did you have Davin deliver this to me?” Amelia asked.
“I wished to prepare a present for you before the wedding but couldn’t settle on one. After much reflection, I asked Lucian to draft this prenuptial contract.” Wyatt recognized he lacked a flair for romance; trinkets and roses were insufficient to convey his feelings. He had reflected for a long while and resolved to offer everything he possessed.
“I can’t accept this. I—” Amelia began.
“Amelia, turn to the final page p>
Before Amelia could complete her words, Wyatt softly cut her off.
Amelia instantly flipped to the final page of the contract. The signature space already bore her personal seal.
The sight of the red seal stirred her deeply. Her eyes grew moist, though she feigned annoyance and muttered, “Aren’t you worried you’ll one day be left with nothing p>
“That’s why, to keep myself from being left with nothing, I must never part from you for the rest of my life,” Wyatt said.
The living room was quiet, and even through the receiver, Wyatt’s voice carried clearly to Weldon. Although Weldon had greatly changed his opinion of Wyatt already, he still wore a trace of disapproval.
“Amelia, breakfast is waiting. Don’t waste time talking to him p>
Following breakfast, Amelia accompanied Weldon to the hospital. She had meant to come the previous night, but Weston and Shepard had strongly objected, so she had waited until morning.
Marc had treated Weston’s injury at Hillside Villa, and the hospital stay was simply for quicker recovery. After all, Amelia and Wyatt were scheduled to hold their wedding in six days. Now that Amelia had recognized Weston as her father, it was fitting for Weston to guide her down the aisle and hand her to Wyatt on the wedding day.
Determined to be in prime condition on that day, Weston fully cooperated with the physicians. He had finally been reunited with his daughter, yet she was about to wed, leaving him caught between joy and sorrow.
Even though Wyatt treated Amelia well, Weston still harbored mild disapproval of him. But once Weldon informed Weston of the prenuptial contract, every trace of dissatisfaction dissolved.
As heirs of vast fortunes, Weston understood the weight of such a contract better than anyone. Bequeathing half of one’s wealth was generous, but it might not have deeply shocked the Chadwick family members.
However, Wyatt’s prenuptial contract, prepared by Lucian, truly astonished the Chadwicks since he was willing to give all his assets to Amelia. This act led Weston and his sons to accept Wyatt wholeheartedly. Regarding Wyatt secretly lodging at Amelia’s place before the ceremony, Weldon chose to overlook it.
Time slipped by quickly, and the wedding day soon arrived.
At one in the morning, Amelia was roused by Carlee and her friends. They had spoken until nearly midnight the night before, so Amelia had slept scarcely an hour before being disturbed.
She looked at Carlee, Kelsey, and Nora, her eyelids still heavy. “I feel so sleepy p>
“The stylists have already arrived; just endure a little longer.” While saying this, Carlee softly pressed a damp towel against Amelia’s face.
The coolness jolted Amelia awake at once.
After Amelia finished freshening up, Babette entered the room with several makeup artists and stylists. Babette was in charge of Amelia’s makeup and attire, while the rest of the artists worked on Carlee and the other bridesmaids. Luckily, Amelia’s room was spacious enough to hold them all.
The bridesmaids’ makeup took just over an hour, but Amelia’s lasted a full five hours. By the time Babette announced her work was finished, daylight had already filled the room.
“Mrs. Stewart, you can check your face now p>
