“Fine, I’m leaving. Neither of you start fighting.” The harsher warning she had swallowed stayed behind her teeth. Reluctance slowed Zaria’s steps as she walked away, and she kept glancing back, shooting sharp looks at coworkers who lingered for gossip and silently driving them off.
Silence settled over the entrance before long. Even Shawn retreated with the other guard.
