Felicity felt her nerves tighten, a wave of unease washing over her as though she had just been caught doing something wrong. Truthfully, she hadn’t felt this kind of pressure from anyone except her father. This man’s presence was formidable. How had Kailey ended up with such a gorgeous yet intimidating fiancé?

Kailey was truly out of it. She nestled into his warmth, drifting on the edge of sleep, until she felt herself being lifted and settled onto a cool car seat. She missed the warmth of his chest immediately.
