The kiss left her breathless, her vision hazy, moisture gathering at the corners of her eyes. She pressed her hands against his chest and murmured, “I haven’t showered yet p>

The dim space grew heavy with closeness. Kyson tossed the bag aside, one arm wrapping around her waist as the kiss deepened.
Her startled inhale vanished against his lips. Whenever he held her like this, she felt lighter than air, as if gravity had lost its hold.
Warm water streamed down from above. Kailey instinctively drew her shoulders in — standing so exposed under the brightness felt unfamiliar, almost overwhelming.
Steam soon clouded the room. She opened her eyes just enough to meet his. Dark, intense, gentle yet blazing, his gaze seemed capable of swallowing her whole.

His face was suddenly close, magnetic, filling her entire field of vision. The rush in her body became impossible to ignore.

His eyes traced her features slowly, lingering on her lips, drifting away, then returning, the tension sharpening with every breath.
