In truth, her mood was not ruined. It was simply that matters involving Ryan had reached a standstill, and with Olivia adding fuel to the fire, the situation felt slightly irritating. Not enough to weigh her down, but enough to linger in her thoughts.
“Ryan called me last night,” she said, then felt there was little worth explaining. She shook her head lightly. “I’m already living in Aslesall.
