Kailey answered right away, her tone relaxed. “Did you check my location? I’m almost there. About ten minutes out p>
Kyson’s voice came through the line, warm and familiar. “You’re near World Trade Plaza p>
Kailey glanced out the window. He was spot on. “Yes,” she replied.
“I’m right here. Have the driver stop here p>
“Oh. Alright.” Kailey leaned forward and tapped the back of the front passenger seat twice. “Could you pull over here? I have something else to take care of tonight, so I won’t be going back to the office with everyone. You’ve all worked hard today — try to rest early p>
Her last words were clearly meant for the whole car, and a few people exchanged knowing looks. Since the call was still connected, no one dared make any teasing comments.
Quentin spoke up casually. “I’ll get off here too. This is close to where I live p>
The car slowed and stopped by the curb. Kailey stepped out first, followed closely by Quentin. After brief farewells, the car drove off and disappeared down the road.
Kailey glanced at the street sign and relayed the location to Kyson before ending the call.

Before she could say anything else, a familiar, low voice came from behind her. “Kailey, it’s time to go p>
