Linda drew a hard breath and sat up straight. “Mr. Blake, please stay calm. I’ll look into it immediately p>
About ten minutes later, a reply from her assistant landed in Linda’s hands—and with it, a chill moved through her. Kailey and Zaria had been taken along by Dana to a social engagement.
“Dana really knows exactly who to choose,” Linda muttered through clenched teeth. “Why didn’t she just ask Mr. Blake to go himself?” She turned to her assistant. “Find out exactly where they are. Now p>
Any thought of sleep was gone. Without stopping to change properly, Linda pulled on the nearest clothes and rushed out the door.
The moment she had the address, she forwarded it to Kyson, her voice carrying an unspoken edge of guilt. “Mr. Blake, I’m on my way there too. I’ll meet you at the entrance p>
Kyson ended the call without a word.

Inside the private suite, Dana was busy helping Kent pressure Kailey and Zaria into more drinks, entirely unaware that her phone was buzzing repeatedly inside her bag.
Heat had risen to Kailey’s face, and she could no longer force herself to swallow another drop. Zaria had consumed even more, though she was fighting to stay clearheaded, searching for any opening to step outside and call for help or reach the police. No chance came—Dana and Kent moved in seamless, practiced coordination to close every gap.
“Oh my—just look at Kailey and Zaria. They’ve clearly had too much.” Dana’s smile remained bright and pleasant as a wave of private relief moved through her. They were finally where she needed them. Caught off guard, Kailey lost her footing and fell directly into Kent’s arms. Dana kept smiling. “Mr. Holt is signing the contract with us tomorrow. That makes us partners, doesn’t it, Mr. Holt p>
In the dim, low light, her eyes shimmered with carefully masked intention.
